FINE North America Concludes Entrepreneur Summit, Sabindra Thapa Elected President
DALLAS, Texas – The Federation of International Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs (FINE) North America successfully held its Entrepreneur Summit and Annual General Meeting in Dallas, Texas. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of nearly 200 Nepali entrepreneurs residing across North America.
The summit’s opening was marked by a unique ceremony, with eight-year-old Anya Shrestha inaugurating the program as the chief guest by watering a plant.
The conference featured an array of distinguished speakers from both Nepal and the United States. From Nepal, Amit Agrawal, Founder of the ‘Khalti’ digital wallet, and Pralhad Giri, Director of Nepal Rastra Bank (as a special guest), shared their valuable experiences. International speakers Ryan Manley, Prakash Thapa (Founder and Vice President of FINE IEC), and Prabuddha Dahal shed light on various facets of entrepreneurship.
A panel discussion, moderated by Sajan Gautam, saw speakers including Satish Gaire, Sunil Sah, Suman Thapa, Anu Tamang, and Pralhad Giri offer crucial perspectives on entrepreneurship and economic growth.
The Annual General Meeting concurrently selected a new executive committee for the FINE America Chapter for the 2025-2027 term, with the slate unanimously approved.
Sabindra Thapa will lead the newly formed committee as President.
The other key office bearers selected are Narayan Khakurel, as senior vice president, Raj Prakash Bhandari and Ram Hari Thapa, as vice presidents, and Anu Tamang, as general secretary. Likewise, in secretary, Sony Thapa and in treasurer Shraddha Thakuri.
The executive committee members include Anita Gurung, Deepak Kharel, Chani Lama, Chakrapani Adhikari, Nawaraj Acharya, Rabin Karki (Ryan), Sunil Gautam, and Reshma Tamrakar. Furthermore, Om Acharya, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of US Khabar, has been entrusted with the role of Communications Coordinator and Spokesperson.
